At Branded, an animated video costs from €500 excluding VAT for a logo animation or short clip of up to 15 seconds, from €2,000 for a 60 to 90-second explainer, and from €4,500 for character or 3D animation. An explainer is usually ready in 2 to 4 weeks.

What drives the cost of animation

A minute of motion graphics and a minute of character animation are completely different amounts of work. These are the things that change the price most:

Length. Every second of animation is made frame by frame.
Style. Motion graphics with type and icons are quicker; characters drawn just for you and 3D take more time.
Script and storyboard. We turn the subject into a short story, and you approve every frame before animation starts.
Voice and music. A professional voice in Bulgarian or English, and chosen music.
Versions. Languages, formats for your website and social media, short cuts.

When animation is the better choice

Animation is strong when you need to explain something a camera cannot see: how a service, software or process works, figures and data, or a product that is still only a prototype. We often combine it with live footage, for example graphics in a corporate film.

How long it takes

An explainer is usually ready in 2 to 4 weeks. A logo animation is quicker, and character and 3D animation take longer. The exact schedule is in the quote.
