Alexander Partulov, director and producer
Branded is a production company in Sofia, led by director and producer Alexander Partulov. Alex has 17 years of experience and a First Class degree in Film Studies from Southampton Solent University, UK.
Before Branded, he founded and owned the Sofia studio Solent Film, where he was the service producer on TV commercials for global brands such as Michael Bublé Fragrance, Samsung, HP and Maybelline. He has worked with Michael Bublé, Robbie Williams, Vinnie Jones, Rita Ora, The Prodigy, Biffy Clyro, Miyavi and Merve Boluğur.
Today Alex puts the same care into every production we make in Bulgaria. Every Branded commercial, from a 15-second Instagram ad to a campaign for several markets, is made to the same international standard.

Brief and quote
We learn your goal, audience, budget and where the ad will run. Then we send a quote and a schedule.
Idea and script
We write the script, the director's treatment and a storyboard, so you can see the ad before the shoot.
Pre-production
Casting, locations, crew, kit, props and wardrobe. Before the shoot we sign off every detail with you in a final meeting.
Shoot day
The director runs the set. You are welcome to attend and watch the shots on a monitor.
Post-production
Edit, colour, music, sound, graphics and effects. You get cuts to comment on until final approval.
Versions and delivery
Finished files for YouTube, social media and TV: different lengths, 16:9, 9:16 and 1:1, and to broadcasters' technical specs.

How much does a commercial cost?
A 15 to 30-second online ad starts at about €4,000 excluding VAT, a concept-led commercial with actors and several locations at €8,000, and a large campaign or TV commercial at €15,000. These are a guide only: the price depends on the idea, shoot days, crew, cast, locations and post-production. After a short call about your project we send a detailed quote within 24 hours.
How long does it take to make a commercial?
It depends on the scale. A short online ad can be ready in about two to three weeks from idea approval. Bigger productions need more preparation, so we give you an exact schedule in the quote.
Do we need an idea or a script?
No. We can start from your goal and audience and propose a concept. If you already have a script or an agency idea, we will produce it.
Do you shoot outside Bulgaria?
Yes. We are based in Sofia but shoot anywhere in Bulgaria and abroad.
Which formats do we get?
Every format you need: 16:9 for YouTube and TV, 9:16 for Reels, TikTok and Stories, 1:1 and 4:5 for feeds, plus short 6, 15 and 30-second versions.
Do you provide music and voice-over?
Yes. We license music or commission an original score, and work with professional voice artists in Bulgarian and English.
